STEM Replay Privacy Policy

STEM Replay respects user privacy and is committed to responsible data practices.

 

1. Platform Eligibility and Child Participation

STEM Replay is a general-audience platform.

Registered accounts are intended for users 13 years of age or older.

Children under 13 may participate without creating an account through:

  • Play Quiz
  • Coach-led sessions
  • Educator-led sessions
  • Parent-managed participation flows

STEM Replay does not knowingly allow children under 13 to directly create registered accounts.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected directly from a child under 13 in a manner inconsistent with this policy, we will take reasonable steps to remove that information.

 

2. Parent, School, and Organizational Responsibility

Parents, guardians, schools, coaches, educators, and organizations are responsible for ensuring they have proper authorization, consent, or educational authority before allowing children to participate in STEM Replay.

STEM Replay does not independently verify parental, educational, or organizational permission.

 

3. Student and Guest Participation

STEM Replay is designed so that students and guest participants may participate with limited-data access and minimal personal information.

Students are not required to provide:

  • Email addresses
  • Full legal names
  • Phone numbers
  • Home addresses
  • Photographs
  • Payment information
  • Government-issued identification
  • Other personal identity information

Students should use:

  • Nicknames
  • Initials
  • Aliases
  • System-generated usernames where available

Students should not use full legal names.

 

4. Information We Collect

Registered Users

We may collect:

  • Email address
  • Authentication credentials
  • Subscription information
  • Account preferences

 

Student or Guest Participants

We may collect:

  • Username or assigned identifier
  • Quiz scores
  • Attempts
  • Completion times
  • Participation history
  • Learning activity records

 

Technical Information

We may collect:

  • Device information
  • Browser information
  • IP address
  • Cookies or similar technologies
  • Error logs
  • Session activity
  • Analytics information where applicable

 

5. How Information Is Used

  • Use student quiz activity to create unrelated user profiles

  • Aggregated or de-identified product improvement where appropriate

 

7. Payments

Payments are processed through trusted payment providers, including Stripe.

STEM Replay does not directly store full payment card information.

STEM Replay may share information:

  • With service providers necessary to operate the platform

STEM Replay uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect user information.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Continued platform use constitutes acknowledgment of updates.
